The UPSC civil services exam is your gateway to a career in the distinguished civil service of India. If you clear this exam, you stand the chance to become an IAS/IPS/IFS officer. This exam is held in three rounds viz. the prelims, the mains and the board interview. If you have a burning desire to serve the country and contribute to her growth and development, you can take the civil services exam. However, there are certain eligibility conditions of nationality, age, educational qualification and number of attempts that you must satisfy. You must hold a bachelor’s degree from any recognised university. You could also apply for this exam if you are in your final year of graduation and are yet to take the final year university exam, or have taken the exam and are awaiting the results. But you must produce the proof of passing before you take the UPSC mains exam.
